I loved the world of business as a gamer of today loves WOW, Halo, Minecraft, or any other gaming universe. For me, back when I was younger, it was the ultimate adventure. You could level-up, explore an organization’s world laterally, unlock hidden treasure, build, and team up with others. There was no other experience like it. I couldn’t wait for my first organizational quest!

It started off rather well. I was able to acquire some gear and try new approaches, even level-up quite a bit. Somewhere along the way, however, the bosses became unwinnable and the mods were fewer and farther in-between. Downloadable content? Forget about it!

Organizational life still seems to be in an obsolete programming language. New tools and technology can barely be used, let alone leveraged. At least that’s what it feels like. This is where my stories begin. What does it feel like to "cut the crap" and lead change? How can we embark on new adventures in the world of work?

From four decades of trekking through the underbelly of organizations, my stories will take you to an alternate universe where organizational adventurers lead daring and courageous lives with humility and integrity.
