Not an Employee

Black and green buildings disappearing into the mist above. #mytransformationadventure, week 7.

This week, as we track my transformation, you’ll find that I am changing my path and making room for who I am by letting go of who I am not.

I am no longer an employee. I’ve been one for a long time across many industries and through various levels of their hierarchies. I have been an employee off and on as I travelled my path as a consultant. But now I shed my role completely, for I cannot uncover what I know in any other way.

The underbelly of organizational change is a dark and fearful place where employees at every level most often dare not tread…alone…or ever. I plan to take you there, escorted of course, and with a head-lamp for each of you. There is a light at the end of this tunnel, but it’s entrance is hidden. Together we’ll find it and follow it to the end.
